Hi there,

Something I've been after for a while is a wheel pedal setup which I have finally just bought.

I managed to get the T300 Ferrari Integral Racing Wheel Alcantara Edition package at a really good price I could not refuse. I also got the T3PA-PRO ADD-ON pedals to go with it as I prefer the 'suspended position' of the pedals.

As I'll be playing Dirt Rally to start with what would you use for the handbrake? As I know from playing with a controller you use the handbrake quite a bit! Is this where the additional Thrustmaster TH8A Shifter can come in handy as you could set it up as a handbrake?

How do you other T300 owners have yours setup?

Also with regards to software preferences I had a quick google and found this thread:

Basically the T300 works very good out of the box (on PC here).

Thrustmaster settings:
60 - 65
100
100
0
0
900°

Ingame, make sure you fully calibrate the wheel
Set tyre force and force feedback to 100.
And adjust the force in the car setup screen for every car individually (masterscale).
I use values between 20 and 30, depending on the car, sometimes even on the track.

Oh and don't forget to go to force feedback calibration and set deadzone removal to 0.2 and the deadzone value below to 0.1.

That should be it for the T300 wheels.

If anyone has some better tips for setting it up please share!

As this is all new territory for me any advice would be really appreciated.

Cheers

:)

you should go to the steam thread of dirt rally or the actual forums.also google many threads.

many people have that wheel. most serious racers will use or buy the extra handbrake.which if you playing dirt rally you want to be fast you need to use.

ingame i would lower tourque alignment below 50.turn off soft lock.degress 200-540 is most popular.
