I used to fly with FSX and now solely X-Plane and although I find my Thrustmaster Hotas X to be sufficient, I've wanted something a little more suited to civil flying as opposed to the Warthog stick etc for quite some time now.
I also fly from the sofa so no yokes for me.

Thrustmaster might have the answer after today's announcement...

It looks good and it's quite cheap - half the price of my Warthog HOTAS.
I notice it uses Hall sensors so should last.
I can't find out if it's made of metal or plastic (looks like plastic).
Have you ordered it yet?

Given the price, I'd imagine it's plastic.
I was looking for the dimensions of the throttle unit but couldn't find anything. I'm hoping that the size is pretty much as the photo depicts (in relation to the stick) as I use my current stick on my lap and therefore don't want or need anything huge.

Will wait and see I guess.
