Bumped into Dave yesterday at Thruxton, was a brilliant (bu a bit chilly) day out. My self and the other half had a grid walk for race 2 which was brilliant. And surreal...

Worked out ok, I got to comment on the perfection of some of the grid girls arses and she got to comment on the manliness of the riders.

Overall, nice day out, anyone else go?

I watched it on TV, good races.

Thruxton scares me just watching it... it's so fast. Not sure I would want to do a trackday there.

If anyone has race 2 recorded, can you please check the footage of the grid walk, I apparently passed the camera twice and didn't notice...

Would like to see if I am on TV hehe.

Wearing black BKS leathers with a beard and a oxford neck warmer for a hat (looks like a sock on my head, a black one).

Was good to meet up again mate, was a cold day, but some awesome racing.

Also let me know when your doing your trackday, might come down and watch/film.

If you have a track day at Thruxton you are in for a treat. I've raced there once and it was one of the most fun circuits I've ever been too. So many steamingly fast bends where you need utter confidence in the bike. The Ducati stability pays dividends there as in the undulating 5th gear corners it feels like its on rails. Plenty of time to be made up against the faster Jap bikes on mid corner speed.

You will NEVER make yourself brake late enough for the entry to the chicane at the end of the lap, you can scrub an amazing amount of speed all the way through the right hander. Get it right and you're braking all the way through until you tip in left in 2nd gear.

:D Have fun!
