thumbcache?

Is any one familiar with the database thumbcahe_1024.db, thumbcache_256.db and thumbcache_96.db.

I'm trying to backup the user folders in vista but it comes back with error that these files are in use. Howerver, I can't see anything that could be. It's only started happening.

They appear to be in the AppData folder under Explorer.

Google doesn't help much.

As it says? is it thumbnail database? safe mode or reboot maybe?

Must be an update or something that's caused it because it was working fine.

try deleting the file, and use filemon to see what's using it.
