Thundebird question

When prompted to select either, html, plain text or both before sending an email ,what should I select. I believe some of my emails are not getting to the recipients when I use Thunderbird. I have checked my account settings and they are correct. If I use Outlook no problems.

It usually tells you what the recipient cant receive doesn't it? TBH I have never paid much attention to what that says and just clicked OK so maybe your problem lies elsewhere..

To play it safe you should send as both. That way whatever format the recipient's email client uses they can use either.

even if the recipients client cant read html emails it will still reach them, but appear as source code rather than nicely formatted.
