Hi,

I'm very tempted by https://www.overclockers.co.uk/thunderx3-core-fabric-gaming-chair-black-gch-thu-01293.html

Has anyone got one? Does the on the fly self adjusting lumber support for your back, get annoying or painful?
That's the only thing I'm a bit worried about/like the idea of if it works as they claim. Also the plush arm rests are a nice touch!

I did consider a SecretLabs Titan Evo XL, but I've red countless reviews warning people that they aren't made any better than anything else half the price, often fail, and have terrible customer service when it comes to refunds/returns, and want you to pay your own courier to return it... Apparently their reputation is false and just overhyped thanks to youtubers/gamers who are sponsored?

Either way for nearly half the price the Thunder does seem to have a better feature set?

We've not heard of any issues with the lumbar support, also, PC Gamer reviewed it very highly:

Nice, it does seem to get very good reviews on Youtube as well, but it's hard to know who to trust.

Did you have the issue that keeps popping up regarding the holes being slightly off, and either drilling them out or getting a replacement piece? I've seen a few people mention this in reviews where it's for sale. One guy has had to get 3 replacements from OCUK:

Great chair for lumbar support...with issues

by Kev
I'd love to give this 5 stars however the QA on the chair is not that great. The screw holes for the back rest don't always align, if you buy this chair, take my advice get the back plate which attaches the back rest to the rest of the chair and make sure these holes align before building. However will give 5* to Overclockers who were happy to exchange it (3rd chair I got fit perfectly)As for the chair it has a lot of good, it is a relatively easy build with little force needed to get it it together (when the holes align), the chair has a lot of adjustments to get you chair fit just for you. The main selling feature the moving lumbar support is a game changer if like me you move around a lot while sat at the desk. It moves with you and makes sure you are supported correctly at all times, even when leaning back. It is worth the money (and pain of misaligned screw holes) if you are a fidgety sitter. Also one last thing, the page currently lists a "gifts included" as the Accessories Kit. This is not free things the Accessories Kit is essential for the chair as it contains: wheels, Gas Cylinder, Chair Lift and Adjustment Mechanism, Plate to attach the back rest to the seat and the screws you need to build the chair. This is not a free gift as the listing likes to state - it is an essential part of the chair

Did you buy one in the end or waiting for the prime sales next week ?

Interesting. Not everyone knows.
Probably one of the best times to buy stuff like PC gear - steep discounts and all the large retailers for those 2 days seem to have offers on as well to compete or get in with the hype. Thats why so many chairs are on sale now to try and get people to buy them before the masses spend their cash on other items in the sale

Well, I have to check it out. So it's on next week? Do you know the date?

There's nothing in particular I want, but maybe something will catch my eye.
