I bought it so here’s my thoughts coming from a Noble Chair previously.
Good points -
Ordered from Overclockers and received it within 2 days. Setup was very straightforward without any issues at all. It’s a bit overwhelming at first due to the sheer amount of different adjustments but once you play around and find what’s most comfortable to you it’s really set and forget. Im a big guy and this is the most comfortable I’ve been in years. I like the fact that it’s sort of cooling due to the mesh over a standard chair also. It all feels quality although my Noble Hero felt heavier if that matters to you.
Now the bad points -
The arm pads are a little hard which could be improved upon with simple pads you can buy, it’s not a major issue for me and there’s not much difference over the Hero but it might bother some people.
I’d like a lock function for the arms also. They can move very easily and find that a slight knock can send them flying lol.
The adjustment of the back and head support (up and down) is a bit fiddly, you have to move it slowly into a click position then leave to set, I would prefer a simple locking mechanism because if you miss a click you have to go back to the bottom then retry.
I watched a video and it clearly states that the tilt function has a 4 position setting on the right side adjustment leaver that you twist to adjust the tilt setting from light to tighter. Mine doesn’t do this and has a tilt and lock. There also seems to be only 3 positions 1. Too far forward, 2. Perfect (for me) and 3. Too far back. I was hoping to be able to have more options in terms of tilt but it seems to miss a big section you could use and then click into the next setting, which again might be a deal breaker for some.
I’m currently using the Ikea Alex drawers with a Karlby worktop and at fist couldn’t get the chair at its lowest position under the desk. I had no issues with this on the Noble Chair previously. Thankfully the arms can be moved in such a way where you can tuck them inwards and it just goes under this way.
I’ll update on durability etc in the future, I haven’t had it long enough.
