So I have just upgraded to Thunderbird 3.0.1 and everything seems well... but now images embedded within HTML emails no longer display!
I have tried everything I can think of to try and correct this problem; but now am asking whether anyone else has had this?
Previous to the upgrade I had vers2.0 and after changing the 'about:config' boolean to disable loading remote images I was able to view all remote images within any emailed I received.
Images do display in my RSS feeds however; they also display if the image is attached (instead of embedded within the message [HTML emails]).
Any ideas on how to fix this problem would be great. I HAVE already tried everything listed here: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Images_in_messages_do_not_appear
My current configuration is:
My system is dual booted and within Linux (which shares the same profile as that on my Windows system) images are displayed within HTML emails.. so I can only think it is something to do with TB 3.0.1 (as I have vers2.0 within Linux).
Any help, much appreciated!
