Thunderbird email accounts - dissapeared?!

I just opened Mozilla Thunderbird and all my email accounts/emails etc have dissapeared!

Is there anyway of getting them back? Quite a lot of important stuff has been lost. :mad:

Last time I was using it, it never crashed or anything. Why did this happen?

Anyone else had it happen to them?

Sounds like your profile's been corrupted and it's loaded up with a default profile.

Have a poke around in %appdata%\Thunderbird and see if your old profile is still sitting in there.

I have a 3 folders which match my email accounts in C:\Documents and Settings\Rob\Application Data\Thunderbird\Profiles\38dj1npk.default\Mail

Do I need to copy and paste them somewhere?

Use Profile Manager to point at the folders, creating a new Profile Name if necessary. Back those folders up first though.
