Yeah, in thunderbird just got to file, export, and export email and contacts, then import into outlook, works fine. I transfered mine using this method to Vista Mail.

Rookies, I have been using Thunderbird for quite a long time now and have used most if the features and I cannot see how to export the data. Thunderbird does not use the same files as Outlook. You could try asking on the Mozilla Forums as there is a lot of detailed knowledge there. mind you, I would want to stay with Thunderbird though. It's a pretty good client and has lots of support, unlike M$

After a little look, it appears that Thunderbird doesnt have this feature but Netscape does.
Have a look here

Its a bit long winded to export to Outlook though. The route appears to be:
Thunderbird -> Netscape -> Outlook Express -> Outlook
