Thunderbird extension - add date to saved emails?

I store my emails in various folders by dragging them from Thunderbird into the relevant folder. Doing this copies the subject line over but it would be really usefull it there was a way to get the date in front of the subject as I have to add it everytime.

The date format needs to be in YYYY-MM-DD format

Anyone see anything suitable for this?
