We use Thunderbird with the lightning calendar add on in my company.
The problem we have is sometimes (not always) the lightning addon uses up a lot of cpu or ram resources.
At the moment I have a user with around 10 ish calendars (not all turned on) and the system ram is escalating to 1.8Gb, cpu % is around 25 and then after a while Thunderbird just quits.
Presumably, it ran out of memory and crashed.
Anyone have any experience of using Thunderbird in a corporate environment?
We use Zimbra as our calendar server.
How can I improve the calendars performance?
I've googled it and it does seem to be a perennial problem with Thunderbird.
