Thunderbolt 3 Expansion Card

Hi all,

I've combed the web for news on thunderbolt 3 cards but have come up empty and the closest I have found is a Thunderbolt 2 card from Asus. I know some new MB's come with a thunderbolt 3 port on them but has anyone seen or heard of any thunderbolt 3 expansion cards being developed or released anytime soon?

Outside of some for mounting graphics cards I think you're out of luck for the moment. Give it another year.

Once we can plug in:
Hardware raid card
Sound card
10Gbe/4 port Gbe network card

via a thunderbolt cable, I'll be going fully laptop
Can already kinda do "well enough" with the sound/network cards but the raids a bit more tricky.

Yeah, my idea essentially is to hide the rig in a well ventilated cupboard and run a thunderbolt 3 cable through the wall to my media centre then hook everything up. But it would be nice to experiment with an external GPU even on a desktop rig.
