My setup has my PC about 2 meteres away from my desk and having the SSUPD Xhuttle case ports are not in the easiest place to get to, also having a sit stand desk need cables near 5 meters long to reach the desk are needed. I opted for a thunderbolt dock TS4 on the desk and all my mic, keyboard, mouse etc connect to that including a second monitor (1440p 60hz). I know that using thunderbolt limits distance of cable and anything above 3 meters is not recomended. I'm getting usb devices rebooting at random but the second monitor is fine just basic usb devices, even if I just have the keyboard connected (one usb device connected to the TS4 and monitor), I've even tried removing the monitor and just the keyboard does the same thing. As of now I have tried 6 different USB3.2 20gbps cables (they all state they can work with TB3/4) all 4-5 meters with the same issue.
Anyone have another set of gear that I could try to get this to work, I have just ordered another TB hub and going to try daisy chaining to the TS4 with shorter TB4 cables.
