Proberbly a silly question but i have a bloody thunderF***er in my monitor, is that covered by the warranty?? lol

Anyone got any tips for removal (if not)?

Cheers,

Dan

Maybe try shaking the monitor around and see if it drops down, failing that but it on your washing machine while its spinning*, and it would soon drop :p

*May break your monitor at the same time

If you are lucky, it will die and decompose in such a way you won't see it anymore. It's apparently quite common.

I'm going to have to bump this because i also have one stuck in my monitor. Sadly it died and is sitting in the middle of my screen, its been there for weeks :(
Any ideas what i should do, i think the screen is about a year old, its a DGM 24". I read that DGM have 36 month warranty on monitors, but its so much hassle for an annoying fly. Any one know a way of getting it out (i dont really want to open my monitor and affect the warranty :( )

Im sure there was a recent post about these bugs in this forum.. think the solution was to switch off all lights in the room so that its dark and shine a light/lamp at the back of the monitor so that it would be attracted to it and out of the monitor
