I just tried to come up with example but i was forced to give up with kids TV when i was 10 years old (11 years ago) so i can't think of any. :/

i cant see the problem myself, if you have fond memories of the originals, then why should a remake tarnish what already exists?
Im also looking forward to turtles and transformer remakes, they are good fun grounds for entertainment, so there isnt always a need for something new and original. Improving a formula that works could be good

Not happy about this. They should leave well alone. If it was done in the same style as the new Masters of the Universe it wouldnt be half bad......but Heman was a bit pap to begin with, whereas Thundercats is awesome. The whole rockband thing will kill it.

Nah they messed up He Man and now this... I feel for the kids of this day.
Found myself somehow watching TMNT the other day and the 'Ninja' turtles only have slits for eyes, making them far more scary than the 'Hero' turtles who had proper eyes.

I hate to admit it but I actually quite liked the remade He-man & TMNT cartoons both took the originals & made them a bit darker & more adult IMO...more so with the Turtles anyway.
Thundercats however will be a mess & will go the same way as every TF series since G1.
They even did a new show of G.I. Joe (Action Force) a while back called Venom Vs Valor & that wasnt much better TBH
They just cant leave stuff alone nowadays although when you look at what new cartoons we get it's hardly suprising (Galactik Football, A.T.O.M, BRATZ, etc.) we need more new cartoons along the lines of Justice League, Teen Titans, X-men Evolution etc. not ruined rehashes...wonder how long it will be before they add M.A.S.K & Centurions to that remake pile???
