The bloody things seem to be out in full force here today. If you go out wearing a white shirt for a few minutes, you'll come back in wearing a black one.

Anyone else suffering these beasties this summer? Any tips for getting rid of them? I'm seriously considering fire at the moment.

They are starting to crawl all over my iMac now....hope they don't discover a path to get underneath the glass...

Oh, they will. I fully expect to be chasing the things around with my mouse pointer for the next couple of months.

They're out in full force now in Rugby. Caught a few for my Mantis but he doesn't seem interested, so not even good for pet food! Do they actually come out to anticipate a storm, or is just the hot/humid weather conditions at the moment?

I assume they just come out during hot and humid weather, that way they get to be as annoying as possible.

Storms often follow after periods of humidity, I imagine this is just a coincidence, and also how they got their name.
