A RISK of Severe Thunderstorms tomorrow night with a low risk of anything later today in the South East. Thunderstorms may cross the region, but there is a chance that they may avoid us altogether and head into the North Sea. Feeling pretty hot and humid for Tuesday, and again muggy tomorrow!

No sound of any storms near here so far, hope that continues, I so need a good night's sleep!

You went and bloody said it didn't you :(

There's a hell of a cluster of lightning strikes coming up from France atm.

WOW!

~18,000 detected strikes in ~90 mins. Wow. That thing is electrified!!

Just started here in Southampton, lots of lightning few rumbles.

Looks like it's going to be fun through the night.

Hertz are taking the mick with that advert surely :D

My other Half's just gone downstairs to look after the dog for the night, poor sod gets so anxious during a storm :(

It's buggered off east now thank god. I need sleep, have an exam tomorrow and might actually get a decent night's kip :)

Haven't heard anything in Dover tonight. Pretty quiet looking at lightning maps. I remember one real trooper of a storm in Kent maybe 2016, I might have that video on my youtube channel it was proper quick lightning and flashes.
