Been thundering for about 2 hours here in the western Lake district, it's died off now. I was working so missed most of it though

We've got a pretty big thunderstorm going on here right now. Crack of thunder went off a minute ago, swear to god it sounded like an explosion!

Flashes of lightning every couple of minutes or so, followed by long rumbles or short crashes of thunder

Currently 19c here at 21:41 and according to the BBC and Google we should have thunder tonight. Fingers are crossed, I love thunderstorms.

Lightning just struck a tower in work just outside Capenhurst sub station. Time to sit in the cabin till it blows over.
