thyristor

hi, i know this isn't really a pc hardware question..

my car amp blew the other day, took it apart and its a thyristor that is blown.
I have the numbers written on this:

FKV550
37 T

Where on earth can i buy another 1 thyristor to solder onto my amp, Save me £150 buying a new one. This amp is kenwood, not sure if this should matter..

do i need the FKV550 or the FKV550T because it says 37 T at the bottom?? thanks for help so far

ah guys just found out it might not be a thyristorr, it might be a 'semiconductor'
