Harsh but the fact she is still missing most likely means that she is already dead. She will be found in a field somewhere in the coming days/weeks.

My thoughts exactly.

The Maddie media circus makes a total mockery of things like this. In spite of the fact she's probably rotting at the bottom of a lake somewhere, people are still going to report sightings of her in Zimbabwe till 2020.

Four dogs also scoured woodland 400 yards from Mrs Sharp’s house. The search came as another of Tia’s grandmothers spoke of her concern over apparent ‘discrepancies’ surrounding accounts of the schoolgirl’s movements.

Tia’s family have told police she left Mrs Sharp’s home alone at midday on Friday to buy flipflops from Croydon’s Whitgift shopping centre five miles away.

But relatives of painter and decorator Mr Hazell said he told them that he walked her to a tram stop.

Angie Niles, 69, whose son David Niles is Tia’s stepfather, said: ‘We’re worried sick, and I just don’t understand, why all these discrepancies?'
Still no trace in spite of police dogs scouring the local woodland. Nothing at all. Very weird.

That only says 'at' the house, rather than in it, seeing as the alleyway joins onto the house as far as I can tell, that doesn't really clear it up.

Just seems odd to me to cordon off an entire alleyway if the body was inside the house - it would also beg the question of how they would have just randomly got a tip off about her being in the house, whereas someone walking down the alley may have seen/smelt something.
