Tick Based Games?

I would like to try one of these games, if you don't know its games like Travian and Stronghold Kingdoms.

I noticed that Stronghold Kingdoms has pay to win elements to it, I would like to play a tick based game that does not have any pay to win side to it.

Anyone know a good tick based game that isn't pay to win or have any "premium" aspect to it?

Yeah I can't see why one would exist either, thats how these sites make money.
