in another twist to the other annoyances i have mentioned regarding booking tickets etc, i have just tried to get tickets for Penn & Teller at the SECC from a pre-sale email.
at 1 minute past the access time, there's 4 tickets left in good places. one i select then tells me someone already took it, then two in the middle row give me a new one - a pop-up saying i've left one unallocated seat between others so i need to reselect. so if you're the kind of person like me who wants to go to shows alone it now seems you're **** out of luck if you hit the same situation. prejudice against singles for some reason, what's the diff between having two singles sitting in seats as opposed to one couple?
