A bit of a shout out for them.

Basically I bought some tickets for a gig next year as a surprise for my girlfriend.

It then turned out that she had already bought the same gig as a surprise for me! Doh! Lol

Used Ticketmaster's Fan Guarantee to get a full refund. Took less than a week. Really impressed.

We've agreed no more surprises. Lol

Really? I've always found them to be the worst vendor of tickets online. I absolutely avoid them whenever humanly possible

• Over-run by scalper bots that snatch all the ticket allocation
• The queue system is a load of BS
• Charge a "transaction fee" for each ticket, so you get stung 4x for buying 4 tickets
• Add on crazy amounts for postage

You get the silly charges with other providers too. I have a ticket on my desk right now with £14.50 as the face value. Add on £1.81 transaction fee and £3 postage and it cost me £19.31. Nearly £5 over face value is basically 1/3 of the ticket price. This is from See tickets.

Their CS can be rubbish too. I e-mailed them last month to say that I'd received 2 sets of tickets, both with subtle differences, so I wanted to know why & which to use.

It took them 16 days to reply saying "We're sorry for the delay in sending your tickets, you'll receive these at least 3 days in advance of the event".

They're probably happy to get them back so that they can sell them on and make double the money
