I was driving along today with my window down a bit and i noticed a ticking noise comming from the right hand wheel, or it sounded like it was comming from there.

It sounds like ive got a bit of tape hanging from my wheel which its hitting something once a revolution obviously getting faster as the wheel rotates quicker. There noise definitly speeds up and falls down with the relative car speed. I stopped and have been looking all around my wheels on both sides and under the car for anything hanging off but i cannot see anything or feel anything for that matter.

I sounds exactly like one of those wheels with a handle that clicks when it measures metres as u walk it around.

Any ideas about this noise?

There's almost certainly a stone in your tyre tread. I doubt it's owt more serious than that. ;)

Went to the garage about this 2 months ago. Something was seized on the brake caliper. Can't remember exactly what though, might have been the caliper piston.

Foreign object stuck in the tyre. Stone/Nail most likely, if it's a nail, don't try pulling it out, leave it in and go get it sorted ;)
