Tidal doing away with higher tier

Got mail this morning, the 19.99 tier is going away, so now on the 10.99 one you'll get your hires FLAC and Atmos.

From 10th April.

Nice little upgrade, I've been wihh Tidal years anyway, no complaints.

Do they have much in 24bit?

Most albums on the new releases page are in the 'Max' format. It's pretty widespread now.

Slight thread derail....but has anybody found away to add the tidal skill to their Amazon Echo devices (in the UK)?

No, they don't support it in the UK. I just use Bluetooth if I ever want to use is through one.

Just noticed the upgrade today, actually from the better quality first. Nice.

I really need to get some kind of Tidal Connect DAC to run into my amp downstairs. Probably keep an eye for a Naim ND-something.
