Hi I've spent well in the £1000's on my new build an now to the wiring most of mine is braided and I'm interested to know what other use to keep it tidy in the back of the case, I know you never really see it again once it's there but if like to spend as much time keeping it nice an tidy etc cheers!!

If the cover sits flush and you can't see it, don't bother. I have spent ages doing it before and then you change something in the future and have to undo the lot. It's just pointless.

If your really set on doing it start with the thickest cables first and cable tie them to the cases loops that it should have for cable tidying, then work your way to the thinner cables by attaching them to the larger ones you started with.

My case in sig has built in cable loops that fasten with velcro. Ive used quite a few but theres still a fair mess of cables. But thankfully the primo has a massive space between the hdd gage and the psu to shove cables into. Looks grand on the bussiness side.

Meh tidying the back of the case, I did that, iv just made a quick paint mock up of behind my motherboard tray, had too many beers tonight to be messing with my pc taking photos,

this is a mock up of behind my motherboard tray, the blue cables are cables from my psu, basically start with the longest cable you have and then you anchor it into a right angle position, then find the second longest, cable tie it to the same corner or the tie wrap you used on the first one, then the third longest cable, and keep on doing that, ensures all the cables are flat to the motherboard tray well behind it, and the red wires in my picture are my fans which have long wires due to being plugged into a fan controller.

hope this helps :)

Edit: no idea why I put my fancontroller wires in the picture to the psu hole, my fan controllers in a dvd drive bay ofc, the wires pretty much go to where they make there anchor point in the picture, and iv just wrapped them up in a loop and anchored them there because they go up and above the mobo tray to my radiator.

defo had too much ale tonite!

Cable ties are a must, i also use a velcro roll which you can cut to any size you wish, i make little ties with them which helps to keep the cables tight together. An example of mine, i'm not saying its the best, it may give you a few ideas though. It starts getting harder when you use braided extensions, you have to plan a bit more, these new modern flat type PSU cables are a pain as they are too rigid and hard to get pinned down, you bend one at an angle and it doubles in size.

What case have you got Rich111s? Cable ties are usually all you need, get everything plugged in, work your way up along the cable mounting points in layers, tie / tuck any excess cables above the optical bay. :-)

i have a bit of ocd for tidy wiring so all my cabling that will never be seen is straight and neat lol, why i dunno as no one can see it but i know its there lol.
