Don't really know how to do amy other knots other than a windsor, i've forgotten. Also not sure what would look any good.

If you could link to a guide/vid of how to do the knot, that'd be good.

my half windsor is not an equal triangle, it looks weighted/skewed to one side, as you only wrap it round one side.

my full windsors look great.

half windsors - am i doing something wrong?

Lol, ties are so thick at the moment you always end up with a knot the size of the Thames barrier. Long live the skinny tie!

I've got a black skinny one that I rock with a white shirt and Pork Pie hat when I'm feeling a bit Special AKA... ;)

I dunno what mine is called but I still do it now as I did in school all those years ago!

Not tucked into my shirt and just leaving the triangle at the top if that's what your thinking.

Definatley doing a half windsor for work in the morning!

I'll feel like the boss! :D

I had that problem.

Solution was, as Jonny69 said, a skinny tie,

Next ties are about a foot wide which causes the problem. Makes you look like an estate agent.

edit: Forgot to say, the knot of choice for me is the "Nicky" Similar to a shelby but easier and undoes it self when you pull out the thinner part of the tie.
Also easier to do neatly.

I always full-windsor, ever since I learnt how to ~8 years ago
looks so much tidier and more even

Keeping the tie fairly tight and held in place throughout tying keeps the knot fairly small
