Tight screws on hard drive cover

Is there a preferably clean way of opening a hard drive compartment where the screws refuse to unscrew? I got a new WD Scorpio Black hard drive for my Samsung Q210 laptop and for the life of me can't unscrew the compartment.

Any advice appreciated.

use the right screwdriver

Get a screwdriver that fits perfectly and give it some, they'll move.

I bought a new set but none get any purchase (despite fitting fine). No-one in the house can get them to budge.
