Tigris & Euphrates, thoughts?

Hi all,

My wife has recently seen the Tigris & Euphrates game and we are looking at getting it.
Does anyone have experience of playing it, and you thoughts on the game?

Only relatively recently played it for the first time (the new Fantasy Flight version).

It's a surprisingly aggressive tile laying game with some fun scoring based on the what you have the least of. Worked well as a 4 and was decent as a 3. I enjoyed it more than I expected to going in.

In a similar style, I think Samurai is a better game and the new edition of that is beautiful.

Anyone else have experience of it, or any other games that are similar tile-laying style?
