I've got a Quigo. The bracket could be designed a bit better, but I use it all the time, it's very handy especially when I was building shelving units and fitted wardrobes.
Unless you're planning to tile a bloody long wall, surely a long straight edge and a spirit level is all you need. Only time i use a laser level is for suspended ceilings and forking long partition walls.
Get level line, batton to line, et voila a start line to tile up from.
