Going to tile hallway and kitchen 40sqm.

Wife lives pattern I am not so sure as I might date quickly don't want to redo in a few years.

Thoughts?

I don't know how you would confirm those were clean layed in a kitchen .. I'd be limestone, but wonder how their wood effect ones might look.

I would consider suicide before laying those.
you comment made me think of russinasting's herringbone tile pattern thread - hall of fame

surprised it was not mentioned in half/full thread

Don’t mind the tiles but I’d definitely go limestone (assuming real limestone, not porcelain - unless it’s a very high end tile with a proper pattern).

Alternatively Basalt as it’s harder wearing, although presumably you’re looking for something lighter.

Yes light cookie required, it's a tricky one as you can't get a sense of the area with the small samples. The trouble is once you bite the bullet and tile it and then it's to late.
