TIM application question

Hi there. I was wondering. When you put the TIM on a cpu and then put the hsf on top and screw it in. Can you take it off again just to see how its spread and if its covering centre ok and all that. Or if you take it off u have to redo it or somit.

Just somit i always wondered as never done it before the remove to check way.

Yes, it's actually a good way to confirm contact and no you don't need to respread it again.
