Interesting - and they retain the same price points as the old models in the US, don't think the UK store has been updated yet though.

The Drobo network adapter attaches via USB too, which is rubbish IMO.

And you'll never get 480Mbps with USB2 - even Firewire 400 is quicker because of the way it works.
