'Time Capsule' When?

I've placed an order for a 'Time Capsule', this was after the pre-order option on the Apple Store site. My order say's this won't be shipped until late February (29th) for a latest delivery of 4th March.

Why are these shipping so late? Is the hardware delayed for some reason, as i was under the impression that these would be available early February.

I'm not sure, if I had to take a guess it might be to do with waiting on the 10.5.2 update.

It's to do with 10.5.2.

But I ended up canceling my order, can't wait forever.

Ok that's what i thought, but wanted to find out your opinions.
Sorely tempted to cancel my order, and then buy it early March when i'm over in the states and get a 1TB version for a touch more than the cost of the 500GB here for equivalent £'s/$'s.

rainforest place has it down for 20th feb, can you use it as network storage or is it purely time machine

Both I believe, Window's or OSX.

I want one too, the 500GB version.

Use the Time Machine for OSX and App's and then connect maybe another external too it for backing up my tunes/movies.
