Time Clickers.

It's pointless. A waste of time. All that happens is that the numbers go up. Thats it. You barely have to do anything. And yet.... I keep coming back to it. I have a GTX 970 and THIS is the game I end up spending hours on.

I'm warning you all now. Don't even start this madness. Avoid the pit I have fallen into.

P.S. You can prestige and that is when it really gets bad.

I feel your pain. I am currently a Clicker heroes addict. What's worse is I have chosen a build where I don't even have to click, it does it for me.

Not spent a single penny on it mind which these games can be bad for, so I guess it is all harmless time wasting.

The downfall of mankind.

Basically... you click on blocks to clear levels. As you destroy the blocks, you get gold. As you clear levels the blocks gain more health. Gold lets you purchase upgrades so you can do more damage/automate the process.

Rinse and repeat.

It sounds so rubbish. But play it for 10 mins and it will never let you go.
 
Chef-borjan, did you play Adventure Capitalist too?? That one had me for a while too until my progress got deleted (which were a god send lol).

That said, they aren't that bad, I only spend the gold I earned while away and set up for the next 'away' period. Choose upgrades etc. So in essence is it only 5 mins here and there. (lots of 5 mins here and there lol)

To be honest, I haven't tried anything else yet. Thankfully.

Problem is I have actual work to do with my PC, and I just leave a small window open.. constantly checking on how close I am to an upgrade every 5 mins.

It's the worst.
 
I hate these, but I still play them. I currently have Time Clickers Adventure Capitalist and Crusaders of the Lost Idols open (try this one, it's like Clicker Heroes but a lot better imo)

It's too late for me, I fell fowl to these damn games last year. Heed his warning though - don't do it!

Since I'm here though, if anyone is after a guild to do the daily raid bosses in Clicker Heroes, have a search for "Lunatic High" in game and I'll add you.

And yes, I'm seriously ashamed of this addiction.
 
I think I had enough of clicking back during the Steam sale wormhole clickety event. Even tho I ended up using a script to do the clicking for me, the obsession wasn't healthy. I managed to get the 100 million badge for my friend, but only managed to get the 1 million badge for myself, but mine showing I got to level 98 million or so. Damn them trolls! So I think I'll heed your advice & not play this game :p
