Time for a 32" 4K (or 34" 1440p UW)

My trusty Samsung SA850 is now over eight years old and I feel it's time for a new toy so I'm looking for either a 32" 4K or possibly 34" 1440p UW flat IPS monitor. This is for photo editing and general use, no gaming, hence flat & IPS and no need for <whatever>sync. I'm prepared to spend up to £1k if necessary to get something decent. Having done a bit of research it looks like the LG 32UD99 or BenQ PD3200U are good 4K choices with the LG 34WL850 as the UW contender but I'd appreciate comments from anyone who has real-world experience of them or suggestions for alternatives.

I won't be giving up real estate so much as not getting more as my current monitor is 1440p but I hear what you're saying.

The 32UL950 is on my list but some reviews have criticised its contrast levels. I don't know if this is a real-world problem or just reviewers....

Thanks for the suggestions. The Acer & Asus are pushing my price limit a bit too much and once you go over the £1000 then Eizo becomes a consideration. This isn't a bad thing as my first LCD screen was an Eizo 18.1", back in 2000, and I was still using it in a dual monitor setup when I replaced both with the SA850.
I'm actually leaning towards the Dell U3219Q unless you know why I shouldn't.

Thanks for that. I'll hunt one down as soon as I've recovered from having a complete new set of rubber fitted to my Q3 yesterday.
