I decided that running oversize chokes in my ancient 40's wasn't ideal for power or economy, they needed a rebuild, plus they didn't match up to the manifold without a step. Upgrade was in order, so once I've sold off all my 40 DCOE kit it shouldn't look as expensive as my bank balance suggests ;)

They'll be going on when I pull the engine out for the rebuild.

Makes a load of noise most of the time. The rest of the time it mixes the fuel with the air on a huge scale

If you don't mind letting us know, how much were they out of interest?
They were best part of £500. I'm not normally one for spending that much but it's a worthy upgrade in my eyes and I'll finally get the most out of my engine

Bring on the trumpets!
Indeed! I need to swap those trombones for some short 16mm trumpets for clearance though :D
