Time for a new build!

So it's been over two years since my first build, and I'm off to Uni in October, so I figure now is a good time to build a new rig. Quite a simple brief to be honest: £800 'monitor-and-peripheral-less' budget, used mainly for gaming and general study stuff. I've done some research myself but I'm not entirely sure on everything, so some guidelines would be great.

I'm looking to order by the Wednesday 20th unless there is something worth waiting for coming out in the not too distant future (meaning before October). Thanks for the help!

if your a student then dont get win7 from OcUK. as good as their prices are, they cannot compete with websites that offer student discounts on win7. hell, i got win7pro for free from my uni, and theres no way anyone could compete with that

just a couple of things to point out about billysielu's post:
- size of TV doesnt matter, its the resolution thats important. a 90 inch projector thats 1920x1080 will use the same graphics power as a 16 inch TV thats 1920x1080
- for the 560Ti go for a 700W+ PSU, for the 570 go for an 800W+ PSU. that way you have enough power for SLI (two graphics cards working together)

information about bulldozer is coming pretty soon i believe.

also, i think the ATI 7000 series of graphics cards is coming out at the end of the year. if it will be in time for uni im not too sure
