Hi guys I have:
  1. Fx-4100 @ 4.5 ghz
  2. Sabertooth 990fx
  3. Club3d 7870 xt @ 1240 mhz
  4. 800 watt xfx psu
  5. Corsair h80i

I am wondering if I should upgrade my cpu anytime soon to perhaps the new 8350 piledriver. I use my system for gaming and it plays crysis at high settings but is my CPU beginning to bottleneck my gpu or the other way round, Any help is welcome xx

If your computer is for gaming, for the moment it is ok, because actual games will use up to 4 cores, so the 4 extra cores on the 8350 will be useless.

but for general use, the 8350 will make a good improvement.. you have good PC components, just your CPU is... lets say low end :P

if you were to upgrade id get the 8320 same as the 8350 except in clockspeed which can be easily rectified and you save some money too.
