Time for a new gfx card

Hi all,

I'm a bit lost here. First off, I'm definately not an overclocker, so that aspect is not important to me. I do however value good quality components (not necessarily expensive ones though), which I have found are abundant here at OcUK. I'm in Italy myself, where I often do not find what I'm looking for.

Anyway, I have a 4 year old ATI Radeon x1900xt card that seems to be running on its end. I more or less expected this, since I'm using my PC extensively with two monitors on which on one I always play videos for the kids (yeah, the kids :D) and where I use the main monitor to work, browse and game.

Clearly I am looking for a card that can handle that kind of work. Currently I'm using a 1280x1024 max resolution, but my monitor is up for replacement also and I'm considering something a bit bigger (Wide screen that is). Most likely I'll go for something along the lines of 1900x1000 or so.

Also, considering that this time I'm on a really tight budget (with this crisis and all) I have at most 100 to spend (on the card that is).

This card caught my attention (I prefer nvidia at this point) http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-097-BG&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=1009 and was wondering what you guys think.

I personally like the fact that it uses less power, but to me it is not clear whether it will be able to manage the set up that I have and the one I'm aiming for. Also, heat is a bit of a concern to me, since my PC is in a small room (our bedroom), I'd like to keep the heat emission as low as possible.
During winter it might be nice, but considering that during summer it can get as hot as 40 degrees Celsius over here, it's better to keep the room as cool as possible. :p

Anyway, you guys get more or less an idea of what I'm looking for. I'd be happy with similar performance of the current x1900xt that I have in my PC, but an upgrade would have course be better.

Please help me pick a decent card for my system.

Thanks for the advice guys. Looks like the Gainward GeForce GTS 250 Green Edition 1024MB GDDR3 would indeed be a very good option for my set up.

Very nice suggestion indeed. Thanks again. ;)
