Time for a new monitor

I've been using 24" monitors for many years now, with 1920x1080 resolution. I've never experienced anything higher than this in terms of size and resolution. I have experienced 144hz (my current monitor) and it's probably something I'd look at in a new monitor. I don't think I could ever go back to 60hz.

So I guess the way forward would be 1440p / 144hz and possibly G-Sync? Never tried G-Sync before, so not sure what I'm missing out on!

Also, the arguments between TN and IPS panels.. I think I've only had TN panels, so I don't know what I'm missing out on if I get IPS.

The monitor that has me interested is:

But I'm not sure if it's worth spending £500 on it.

If I get a new monitor, I'd most likely use my current main monitor (24" 144hz) as a secondary and use the new one as my primary. I have a 980ti to power the monitors, so I don't think I'd have any problems.

I personally went from a 24" 1080 -> 27" 2560x1440 -> 34" Ultrawide 3440x1440.

Can't rate the ultrawide highly enough, best upgrade I've made for the PC hands down over the years.
