Time For A New "Non-Gaming Mouse"

Hey guys,

I'm looking for a mouse within, £20 is my budget (well not mine but will explain in a bit). To be honest I don't expect anything great as I'm using a DeathAdder which I think is wonderful.

Basically my girlfriend ahtes the name and sees it as a petty excuse to get rid of it and I can't be bothered to argue with her about it, or not argue with her depending on how you want to see it. So she wants to buy me a new one. Doesn't help she thinks gaming is a waste of time (yet she loves watching TV series) so anything with the work gaming in it may get a 'NO!'. Hope you guys can help, thanks in advance.
 
Your girlfriend is forcing you to buy a new mouse, because the one you currently use has a name she doesn't like?

Boot her out.
 
L.o.L. She's has her good points I guess, though to be honest it's a weak arguement. She also claims it doesn't track as well as she'd like o.O IT'S A RAZER MOUSE! As well as she thinks the button arn't as defined or something, makes little sense and logic but works for her.

I'll look into the Intellimouse thank you.
 
She hates your deathadder and thinks gaming is a waste of time?

My girlfriend just bought me a deathadder for xmas and loves gaming. I'm not trying to rub it in or anything :D

Go with the 2 mouse solution or tell her you'll confiscate the TV remote.
 
My whole family (including my mum) loved my deathadder when i got it and were really jelous of my new purchase. I'm surprised your girlfriend doesnt like it lol.

Personally I think it's a bad waste of money but like I said I'm tired of arguing. Hopefully something happens and she gains some sense, till then no more gaming. Thanks for your comments, laughs and help guys. Bye for now.

You let a woman use your computer?! :D

Just let it slide, say you'll get round to it. If she wants to use the PC she'll put up with the mouse and will forget about it eventually.
 
A spine comes in pretty handy in moments like this, Tell her if she wants to replace you mouse with a new one then it has to be in at least the same range as the price of the deathadder, if she doesn't like it banish her form the pc for eternity and a day!

On topic, i used an intellimouse before i bought my logitech Mx400 precision laser mouse and i cant fault it, it was a great mouse for its price and did me just fine for gaming so you should still be able to frag away!
 
I wouldn't get rid of the mouse just keep it and plug in the new one aswell, this way you both get a mouse you can use and won't be throwing a perfectly good mouse down the toilet.
