the 4870 is better though, and that one is the old architecture so the 4870 is quite a bit better, theres less difference with the newer 55nm 260's but the 4870 still shades it even then. Id look at the HDD personally, get either a WD or samsung spinpoint, and get a 640gb one, they use 320gb platters which are denser and run faster

Oh nice, PC is now under £900 thanks to that bundle and only the ram is different, slightly slower mhz but that's fine. Might consider getting a better hdd.

But yeah I'll stick to the 4870, i've always been a big fan of ATI Radeon so won't be changing that.

My 260 is the older 192 core and breezes 700 core clock and high on memory too. (I know every cards dif).
But benchmarking wise there's not much diffrance between my friends new 260 and mine tbh.
+you get 10 year warrnty with the evga
+90 Day Step-up/upgrade programme
+24/7 Email Support
+PhysX
+cheaper
+my old 4870 was louder than my 260(40% fan speed)
+better drivers. I can rember having driver probs with my old Radeon 9800 PRO and then years later had some probs with my drivers with my 4870.

But i guess thats my personal opinion having owned and oc both cards.
