Hi, i think its time i upgrade my PSU once and for all. i currently have a seasonic m12 600w running a i7 920, 3gb 4hdd and a 260gtx but im planning to buy a 480gtx.

i know my 600w could take it but JUST about and i dont really wanna stress my expensive rig to its limit. i want room for it to breath so im looking for maybe a 1kw PSU to power it all and future power hungry products.
what you guys suggest? i could not find a 1kw seasonic but i heard corsair are branded seasonics?

Well if you want 1kw i believe the Corsair HX1000 are good and if you dont have a set budget i believe you cant get much better than the Enermax 1050w revolution, However i think something like a Corsair HX750 or HX850 would still be more than enough for what you want.

+1 to this, a good quality Corsair PSU at 750-850 watts would be plently for future upgrades, and PSU with a high max output aren't efficient when the total power draw is small

maybe my 600w psu will be fine?

If that is a chart of power draw at the mains then you'll probably be fine, but cutting it close as you said. If you can afford it you might still want to think about upgrading though, especially if you would maybe consider overclocking the graphics card in the future. I'd suggest this PSU which is also made by Seasonic.

People need to get over the whole LOTS A PAWAR vibe. I fell victim and wish i still had the 50 quid in my back pocket.
