Time for a new tablet

HI guys,

I currently have a nexus 7 which is now giving me a string of issues; mainly being i can no longer put files onto my tablet, so i cannot watch movies or anything like that any more.

i was wondering if anyone had an idea on what i could upgrade to, i've currently been looking at;
acer predator gaming tablet
asus zenpad Z580CA
sony z4
nexus 9
new samsungs
and i have looked a a few ipads.

anyone got a few pointers on what could be a good option.

If you want to put files on your tablet, you'd probably be best to get one that has a Micro-SD slot for expandable storage. One thing that's always put me off Google's Nexus range of devices is that they never have one.

Yes, i am looking at this in particularly as nexus's have a problem with connectivity at the moment. but does anyone have a good tablet for a reasonable amount?

If you liked the size of the nexus 7 take a look at the Sony Z3 tablet compact.

I prefer it to the larger 10" tablets as it's easier to hold in one hand and small enough to carry around. I replaced a nexus 6 and z tablet with the z3 tablet. Don't make many calls and read/reply to messages and control music with a smart watch so tablet stays in the bag.
