so intel is the way to go then?
are they so much better than amd 2
does nvidea have better cards than ati?

keep it coming I like what I am seeing

Thanks

at the minute intel is the way to go and you were looking for a spec now. AMD are releasing there flagship chips towards the end of the year/ beinging of next year i believe

the price of intel chips dropped in july, so they are at a good price. If you are going to wait til the AMD chips come out then theres no point in taking the specs given above as the prices of components could change, newer and better stuff could come out..

personally for the price of the quad cores now, i would get a quad core, corsair 520/620 psu, a GTX and 4 gig of ram all for under £1000 is a good value set up :)
