a change of room now means the pc will have to go on the desk, so i think i need something smaller.

i currently have a Antec P182 Special Edition case (the polished stainless one) but i feel it will be too big for my desk and i am after something more compact that will take a atx mobo (dont want to go spending £££'s or the missus will kill - me )

what options are out there? Antec Sonata 3, Lian PC50 and Lian PC59 any advise would be appreciated.

Also where on OCUK can you sell stuff I have a case to sell?

Lian Li A05 is the smallest case I can think of which takes standard ATX.

There is a members market but you need 250 posts I think, all the details are in the FAQ :)

Antec 300 though it'd be a bit of a step down in quality I'd imagine from your P182. It's a fine case though. Just got one myself, haven't started my build in it yet but from what I have played around with it so far it looks very good, airflow should be very good.

a step down.? he does want to get a smaller case.?
and there an awesome build case with great airflow.!

Yeah, get up your post count and you can sell that P182SE on the members market. The SE will go for a lot as it's desirable and unavailable new now. There have been a couple of people after them recently, I know because I have one! I think I could sell it for more than I paid for it tbh!

Can't go wrong with Lian-Li, the Antec 300 though isn't all that much smaller, i'd much rather keep the P182. You thought about the A05? It's pretty compact, good design and quality and looks nice too.

The antec 300 for a midi tower is quite big. Even the mini p180 is on the large size even though it can only take micro-atx motherboards.
