Time for a upgrade, but what too upgrade...

My rig is on my sig and i basically want suggestions on what the best possible upgrade for me is at the moment.

I've limited it down to about 2 options, i either:

-Upgrade from 1gig to 2gig ram and upgrade to a amd x2 3800+ (about £300)

OR

-Upgrade motherboard and get a 7900GT (about £350)

I'm looking to improve how games run but at the same time what upgrade will be more beneficial at this time...
