Hi all,

So it's my time for an upgrade, not had one done since 2021 so I thought this is my early xmas present.
What I'm playing, Warzone from time to time and GTA RP only.

Current setup:
Case: be quiet! Black Silent Base 802 Tempered Glass PC Gaming Case
Mobo: Gigabyte Z590 UD AC ATX
CPU: Intel 8 Core i7 11700KF Rocket Lake
CPU Cooler: be quiet! Drk Rck PRO 4 Cooler
GPU: EVGA Geforce RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming (08G-P5-3767-KL) LHR
RAM: Crucial Ballistix 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-28800C16 3600MHz Dual Channel Kit
Power supplies: 850W be quiet! Straight Pwr 11
SSD1: 1TB WD SSD Black SN750 M.2 PCI
SSD2: Samsung 980 1TB PCIe 3.0 NVMe M.

I want to keep the case and SSD's as above, the rest I'm open for suggestion. 850W be quiet I believe is decent but unsure if good enough if I get new GPU. With the GPU, is it worth waiting when SUPER variations are out for 4070/4080? I was after 4080 but if 4070 Super will be bery close in terms or quality to just basic 4080 but much cheaper then I'm in.

Budget: £1500-£2000, may add a bit more if needed. If any of my current setup is still decent and you will reccomend to just upgrade some of it then I'm fine with it, just don't really know what I can upgrade without some help.

Appreciate your help

4070 Super is slower than a 4070 Ti, so it isn't equivalent to a 4080. The 4080 Super is apparently going to be cheaper than the 4080, so that's what I'd look at.

If you play at 4K, then I'd just get some more RAM, the 4080 Super and see how it goes. If performance doesn't improve enough for you, then you can invest the remaining budget in an upgrade to 13th/14th gen or a 7800X3D.

Any specific RAM you guys recommend? The one I've got in isn't on sale anymore so I don't mind buying new set.
I play mostly at 2k btw

Hmm for the team group I need to check if I have space first when back at home. The height may be the problem but I will double check

Those team groups, woudl they work with my mobo and cpu? Don't see them being on compatibility list under the rams link

I could not find Gigabyte ram compatibility list sorry, but if u have the list then you should find some.

I was looking at the RAM specs, down the page there is a compatibility text and some CPU's listed, I don't have the list either

The team group 8 pack ram is excellent qality. I have used and owned several sets of it and the top of the heatspreader can be removed if you have clearance problems with no stability issues.

You might be able to get another set of the crucial ram you own second hand.

For a similar or less expensive kit than the one you mentioned:

CMK64GX4M2D3600C18 is on the motherboard's QVL, even though it shows up as Ryzen optimised.

KF436C18BBK2/64 is on Kingston's configurator.
